dot.dot.polka.dot.cvr.jpg — After many years in graphic design, I am returning to my original interest in the visual arts: drawing and painting. I am excited to announce that my first picture book, as an author/illustrator is now available! Published by POW! Kids Books, Brooklyn, New York and distributed by Simon and Schuster. Dot, Dot, Polka Dot is available wherever books are sold. You can also list it as a “want to read” on goodreads.
Young readers are introduced to the shapes and movement of different fabric patterns that come together to form a child’s quilt. From the swirling spirals of calico and the tidy diamond lines of argyle, to the brilliant blocks of kente cloth and Uroko’s fish-like scales, DOT, DOT, POLKA DOT treats children to a colorful tour of popular designs from around the world, while teaching them their unique names.
